Wrote ComponentSoftware (Beyond Object-Oriented Programming). Clemens Szyperski was Associate Professor in the Faculty of Information Technology at Queensland University of Technology. He was the co-founder and Director of Research at OberonMicrosystems, which developed the BlackBox Component Builder. 

Clemens worked with TonyWilliams in the the Component Applications group of MicrosoftResearch (http://www.research.microsoft.com/comapps/) -- BrokenLink 20070509

Clemens now works in the Connected Systems Division at Microsoft working on DeclarativeProgramming environments.
