ConvenientObjectOrientedLoopbacks, usually abbreviated COOL, are an important part of the PerlSix typesystem.  The standard class Cool has many, many implicit conversion multimethods.  To add an object to the implicit-conversion web, one needs only to write:
    class SomeClass is Cool {...}
