W. Daniel Hillis is the CTO and Co-chairman of Applied Minds, Incorporated.

He was previously the Vice President, Research and Development of Walt Disney Imagineering, and Adjunct Professor, Media Laboratory, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

His Ph.D. thesis got turned into
