In my long-gone graduate school days, a DumbProgrammer was someone who made an elementary logic error in FORTRAN while PunchingCards in the wee hours. Such errors were called DumbProgrammerErrors; the dumber the error, the more fun it was to debug the listings the next day. --GeorgeBrower
