Erik Wayne Smith was born April 25, 1963 in Irving, Texas to Robert Ellis Smith and Geraldine Josephine Gillespie. Erik was adopted by James Kern McCarty at the age of 14. Erik feels blessed to be the son of two men he loves and respects.
