First Union National Bank was a large US bank headquartered in Charlotte, NC.  First Union was an early adopter of Smalltalk and has utilized Smalltalk for development of many mission critical client/server applications.

FUNB's DoIt team applied their flavor of XP continuously between late 1997 and mid 2001.
