NeilHarrison is an associate professor at Utah Valley University. Until 2005, he was at Avaya (formerly Lucent Technologies) in Denver, Colorado, where he did software development in telephony. He was at PLoP/94 and many other PLoPS since then, and is particularly active with pattern shepherding (see www.hillside.org, and read about the Neil Harrison shepherding award.) He was the lead editor of the PLoPD4 (PatternLanguagesOfProgramDesign 4) book. He co-authored OrganizationalPatternsOfAgileSoftwareDevelopment with JimCoplien, and they are working together on patterns of Scrum Development.
