BusinessProcessManagement (BPM) is a specific form of ProcessManagement for the office environment, taken from a IT and Business perspective.

ProcessManagement predates the relatively new BPM and encompasses Industrial Process Management. There is a heap of Operations Research related topics and some of which are IT related as well.
