If someone wants to adopt a new gimmick (IfItsNewItMustBeBetter), then the counter is NotWidelyAcceptedPractice. And so on. Occasionally (just occasionally) one of these discussions will actually get into the merits of a product/methodology/etc. and something useful will happen.
