ActiveState did an experimental managed Python implementation <http://www.activestate.com/Corporate/Initiatives/NET/Research.html?_x=1> ages ago, but the one to watch seems to be IronPython, written by the author of JavaPython.  It has been released under the GPL at http://ironpython.com/.
