I want to start a discusion here about the principles a web framework should follow. In spite of i want to focus on the Python programming language, this discussion is open to the general idea of a rest framework. This is my first entry here so i know i have lot of rules to read, i will be reading that at the same time i start typing here so i can go to somewhere and not lost my time reading stuff without getting the hit done ;) I just hope not being breaking important rules here, if I am and you notice that pleas let me know and i will correct and learn your way as soon as posible. I know the warning on top, but this is actually a production entry not a test for sandbox, I will be testing stuff in sandbox too. ---- Here are some links to sites with focus on the above: * http://www.webdesign.org/web-design-basics/design-principles/37-responsive-css-frameworks-every-developer-should-see.21872.html * http://uxdesign.smashingmagazine.com/2008/01/31/10-principles-of-effective-web-design/ * http://www.santaclaradesign.com/4-principles-of-good-web-design * http://osakabentures.com/2012/02/unleashing-crowd-power-1/ On REST * http://www.xfront.com/REST-Web-Services.html * http://www.amazon.com/SOA-REST-Principles-Constraints-Enterprise/dp/0137012519 * http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/webservices/library/ws-restful/ JEST * http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library/j-jest/ Audio Podcast on JEST (Java and REST) * http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/podcast/ag/gloverseries-drpinakipoddar.mp3 * more ... http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/podcast/channel-dwall.rss ---- Related * Some references are not for beginners ** See BecomingCompetent Sources W3Schools - http://w3schools.com C''''''reatingWebsites - http://w3schools.com/html/default.asp
