That is "how" you begin designing. You must first have some "Overall or All-Encompassing" notion of what you want. It is at first an Incompleted MentalImage viewed "at a distance". It engenders a feeling of possibilites, of becoming a SatisficingArtifact. For example, suppose you are going to design an automobile.
